Angel Forrest is a celebrated Canadian blues artist whose career began in 1988 and spans over three decades. She gained early attention with her debut Secondhand Blues and her Janis Joplin tribute album. Her first original release, Here For You, sold over 30,000 copies, followed by a series of acclaimed albums including Mother Tongue Blues and Angel’s 11, which featured collaborations with top Canadian guitarists. Known for her powerful vocals and live performances, Angel has earned numerous awards, including seven Female Vocalist of the Year titles from the Toronto Blues Society and multiple Maple Blues Awards. Her later releases, including Electric Love, Hell Bent with Grace, and Angel’s 11 Vol. II, have cemented her status as a leading figure in blues, country, and rock music both in Canada and internationally.
