Her passion was reignited through a tribute to Eva Cassidy, which led to sold-out performances and the release of her debut album, Plush Red Chair. The record drew critical acclaim — No Depression Magazine hailed her as “the real deal,” while Jazz Corner praised her as a “distinctive and one-of-a-kind performer.”

Now based in Alberta, Cayla is working on her second album, Simplicity, a project that embraces minimalistic arrangements to let her voice and songwriting shine.
