Laura Roy is a rising force in contemporary music, blending 70s folk sensibilities with 90s R&B influences to create what she calls “soulful alt-R&B.” Originally from Canning, Nova Scotia, she’s earned two Grammy nominations as a songwriter and vocalist on Doja Cat’s Planet Her album, while also touring as a backing vocalist for major international acts including Sabrina Carpenter, Dua Lipa, and more. She’s a two-time East Coast Music Award winner and her music has been featured on Spotify editorial playlists and BBC Radio.

This is a rare opportunity to experience Laura’s distinctive voice and songwriting up close—an intimate gallery performance after her residency in Banff. Her debut album, recently completed during a creative homecoming to Nova Scotia, is poised to establish her as one of Canada’s most compelling emerging voices.
