The Bad Pennies formed in Vancouver, BC, in 2022 when guitarist/vocalist Jeff Baker and bassist Mark Milner began jamming at Pandora’s Box rehearsal studios. In early 2023, drummer Jim Reid joined the lineup, and the band quickly gained momentum by competing in the BC Blues Challenge. Their performance earned them an invitation from the Fraser Valley Blues Society to represent British Columbia at the 2024 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN, where they played iconic Beale Street venues like the Rum Boogie Café....
