The Gravel-Aires play original Acoustic Roots, North-Americana, Country and Blues music. Formed in 2016 as an acoustic duet featuring singer/songwriter Mark Branscombe on guitar and harmonica and Michael Mahoney on guitar, dobro & mandolin. Mark Branscombe - Roots guy, Indie guy, Pop guy, Blues guy, Country guy, working guy from the eastside of Vancouver Canada. Since 1978 performed and recorded with Vancouver blues rock band Mud Bay, crossing paths and opening shows for Stevie Ray Vaughn, James Cotton, James Hunter, Long John Baldry and Canadian bluesmen Jim Byrnes, Dutch Mason and Big Dave McClean.
