Introducing ShowHub’s New Music Journalist: Luc LeMans

We first met Luc in the spring of 2025, during our ongoing adventures building ShowHub. It didn’t take long for us to be drawn in – not just by his musical talent, but by the kind of presence that makes you stop and pay attention.

By December, Luc mentioned he was interested in shifting his focus toward writing about the music scene. We didn’t hesitate. Recognizing both his insight as a working musician and his natural voice as a storyteller, we invited him to join the ShowHub team.

Thankfully, he said yes.

Luc LeMans has been a working musician on the BC circuit for several years, performing both solo and with a full band at venues and festivals across Vancouver. He first picked up the guitar at 13 in an attempt to impress girls in middle school – a strategy that may not have worked, but one that sparked a lasting connection to music.

Offstage, Luc brings that same passion into his writing. With experience as a contributing writer for the Unsigned BC Radio Show, he’s now stepping into his role as ShowHub’s Music Journalist, where he’ll be covering live shows, interviewing artists, and highlighting the depth of talent across the local scene.

We’re excited to have Luc on board, and even more excited to share his first article – with many more to come.
