Artists
Artists are listed with a square image, a mid-length bio, and a link to their preferred website or social page. They’re categorized based on the information available and appear in either the solo/duo directory or the full band directory. Artists who perform in both formats are listed in both.
Each directory includes a live search bar that filters results as you type. In most cases, typing part of a first or last name will bring up the artist quickly. This search does not support spaces, so it’s best to enter a single name.
For full-name searches, use the main search bar at the top of the site, which will work for all search queries, including with spaces.
Artists who would like their profiles updated are invited to contact us with the new information, and we’ll take care of it. If you’re listed and haven’t yet been in touch, please feel free to reach out. We contact each artist as they’re added, but we don’t always have the correct or current contact information.
If you missed our message and prefer not to be included in our listings, just let us know and we’ll remove your information right away.
Venues
Venues are listed with a square image of the venue entrance. This is intended to help audiences recognize when they’re in the right place. We’re currently working on including interior photos as well, which will appear as slides on the individual venue pages.
We’re also gradually adding venue descriptions. Given the volume of listings, this is an ongoing process.
We welcome contributions of descriptions from anyone familiar with the various rooms. We’re looking for neutral descriptions, not opinions (this room sucks!, unfortunately doesn’t help much, even if it’s true). Also, photos of the interiors would be greatly appreciated – ideally with minimal identifiable faces, for privacy reasons. We can blur faces, but if there’s too many it just doesn’t look good.
Out-of-area Venues and Presenters
We’re not able to expand our free service beyond our current coverage area at this time. If you’re located outside Vancouver, Burnaby, or the North Shore and would like to be included in our listings, feel free to get in touch.
We’re happy to work with you to find a rate that makes sense for your situation – whether you’re looking for standard listings or partnership-level visibility. Fees are based on the level of work involved, including the number of shows, artists, venues, and whether ticketing is required.
