ShowHub is a free, ad-free community service built, curated, and managed by two locals who care deeply about our music scene. We created this platform to make it easy for people to discover who’s playing, where they’re performing, and what’s happening across small-to-mid-size venues and community events. Our artist and venue directories also help working musicians and venues stay connected and visible.
We run ShowHub entirely ourselves. While we received a grant that supported promotion during our initial growth phase, that funding has now concluded. All ongoing expenses are covered personally, including running daily ads in support of the shows, artists, and venues listed here. If you find ShowHub helpful and would like to support this work, there are several ways to do so.
Share & Connect
Visibility is essential to keeping live music thriving. By sharing events from ShowHub, you help spread the word—boosting awareness of the shows, the artists, and the platform itself. Our custom share images stand out in crowded feeds and give artists and venues a clean, accessible way to promote their events.
Musicians can also support ShowHub by adding their ShowHub profile link to the social links on their website, or by mentioning ShowHub from the stage when encouraging people to follow their upcoming shows. These small actions help more people discover local artists and venues.
It also helps when artists can connect us to their venue contacts or bookers. We sometimes struggle to get replies, and a simple connection can make a big difference in keeping listings accurate and up to date.
Featured Show Promotion
We now offer featured show promotion for an affordable price. This provides additional visibility for shows that may need an extra boost, while helping offset the costs of running the platform. We’re happy to tailor a plan to your needs, and you can see sample packages and pricing here.
Contribute
ShowHub operates as a social enterprise. We aren’t a charity and can’t issue tax receipts, but every dollar contributed goes directly toward keeping this service running and increasing the visibility of the artists and venues we list.
Your contributions help offset costs such as:
• website hosting
• software and technical infrastructure
• daily advertising to increase visibility of both shows and artists
• printed promotional materials
• communications and transportation
• business expenses such as insurance, accounting, and legal fees
Alongside those expenses, since January 2025 we’ve invested over 2,500 hours of unpaid work building, maintaining, and growing ShowHub. This includes sourcing content, entering listings, developing features, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting artists and venues. The workload is significant, but we believe deeply in the value and long-term potential of the platform.
Even a contribution of $10 or $20 helps offset promotional costs, advertising, and the gas and parking fees that come with getting out to connect with venues and artists.
