Why Live Music Listings?

Too many great live music shows in Vancouver go unnoticed because they aren’t being promoted effectively – or at all. Major U.S. event aggregators rely on scraping data from ticketing platforms, missing much of what defines the local Vancouver music scene. These shows are often buried across countless social media accounts and individual venue websites – many of which are difficult to navigate and not fully accessible.

ShowHub changes that. Our platform connects audiences, local musicians, and live music venues across Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Burnaby, and Port Moody, along with a few outlying destination venues. We make it easy to find what’s happening and where, all in one accessible place.

While Vancouver has an incredible jazz community that’s already well promoted (see Rhythm Changes for a dedicated jazz list), ShowHub focuses on other genres — including Original Artists, Roots & Blues, Rockabilly, Country, and Folk, as well as select Cover and Dance bands. Because our listings primarily feature small and mid-size venues, some larger ticketed concerts appear in the Upcoming Shows of Note section on our Weekly Listing page.

Connecting Artists, Venues & Audiences

Our artist and venue directories aren’t just for music fans – they’re a valuable tool for musicians and venues to connect. Whether you’re an artist looking for gigs or a venue searching for live acts, ShowHub makes it easier than ever to book and discover live music in Vancouver and the surrounding areas.

With venue contact details and direct links to artist websites, ShowHub helps strengthen Vancouver’s live music network – building a more connected, accessible, and community-driven scene.

We hope this site becomes a trusted resource for everyone involved in the Vancouver live music industry. If you love live music, help us spread the word – online or through good old-fashioned word of mouth.
