These Terms of Service govern your use of the ShowHub website and services provided by ShowHub Promotions Inc., including ShowHub Plus. By using ShowHub, creating an account, or purchasing a ShowHub Plus membership, you agree to these terms.
About ShowHub
ShowHub is a curated live music listing service serving Vancouver and surrounding communities. We collect, organize and publish information about live music performances, artists, venues and related events.
ShowHub is operated by ShowHub Promotions Inc., a company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada.
Show and Listing Information
We make reasonable efforts to keep information on ShowHub accurate and current. However, show dates, times, prices, performers, venues, ticket availability and other details may change without notice.
Information published on ShowHub may come from artists, venues, promoters, event organizers, ticketing services, public announcements and other sources. ShowHub cannot guarantee that information supplied by third parties is complete or error-free.
Please confirm important details with the artist, venue, promoter or ticket provider before attending or purchasing tickets.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, ShowHub is not the organizer, promoter, venue or ticket seller for events listed on the site.
Third-Party Websites and Services
ShowHub contains links to websites and services operated by third parties, including artist and venue websites, social media services and ticket sellers.
These services are independent of ShowHub. We do not control their content, availability, accessibility, privacy practices, terms or transactions.
When you purchase tickets or otherwise interact with a third-party service, that transaction is between you and that provider and is subject to its own terms and policies.
ShowHub Content
The ShowHub name, branding, website design, original written content, organization of information and other material created by ShowHub Promotions Inc. are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
ShowHub also publishes material supplied by or relating to artists, venues, promoters and other third parties. Copyright and other rights in photographs, artwork, biographies, logos, videos and other third-party material remain with their respective owners.
You may use ShowHub for ordinary personal and informational purposes. You may share links to ShowHub pages and individual listings.
You may not copy, reproduce, republish, sell, license or systematically extract substantial portions of ShowHub’s content or database without permission.

Automated Access and Scraping
You may not use bots, crawlers, scripts, automated agents or other automated methods to systematically collect, scrape, reproduce or extract ShowHub content except where we have expressly permitted that access.
You may not attempt to bypass rate limits, access controls, bot restrictions or other technical measures used to protect ShowHub or its content.
Normal access by search engines and other automated services that ShowHub has expressly permitted is not prohibited by this section.
Information Provided to ShowHub
Artists, venues, promoters, event organizers and others may provide ShowHub with show information, biographies, photographs, artwork, links and other material for publication.
By providing material to ShowHub for publication, you confirm that you have the right or permission to provide it and grant ShowHub permission to use, reproduce, format, edit and display it as reasonably necessary to operate and promote ShowHub and its listings.
You retain any rights you hold in material you provide.
We may edit submitted information for formatting, clarity, consistency, accuracy or suitability for ShowHub. Providing information does not guarantee that it will be published or remain published.
If you believe material on ShowHub infringes your rights or has been published without appropriate permission, please contact us.
Acceptable Use
You may not use ShowHub in a way that:
- interferes with the operation, performance or security of the website;
- attempts to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems or data;
- circumvents technical restrictions or security measures;
- introduces malicious code or deliberately harmful requests;
- impersonates another person or organization when creating or using an account; or
- uses ShowHub or its services for unlawful purposes.
We may restrict or block access where reasonably necessary to protect ShowHub, its users, its systems or its content.
Availability and Changes
We work to keep ShowHub available and useful, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Features or content may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, changes to third-party services or circumstances outside our control.
We may add, modify or discontinue features, listings or other parts of the service as ShowHub develops. Specific terms concerning changes to paid ShowHub Plus services are set out in the ShowHub Plus section below.
Privacy
Our collection, use and handling of personal information is described in the ShowHub Privacy Policy.
Third-party websites and services linked from ShowHub have their own privacy practices and policies.
ShowHub Plus Terms of Service
These Terms of Service apply to ShowHub Plus memberships provided by ShowHub Promotions Inc. By purchasing a ShowHub Plus membership, you agree to these terms.
ShowHub Plus Membership
ShowHub Plus is a paid membership service that provides access to additional features on ShowHub, including My ShowHub.
A membership is associated with your individual ShowHub account and is for your personal use. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and login information.
We may add, change, or discontinue ShowHub Plus features as the service develops. We will not materially reduce the paid membership period you have already purchased without providing an appropriate remedy.
Free Trial
Eligible new members may receive one free 7-day trial of ShowHub Plus.
No credit card is required to start the trial, and you will not be automatically charged when the trial ends. Your trial begins when you verify your email address and ends automatically after 7 days.
Free trials are limited to one per person. Creating another account or using a different email address does not create eligibility for another free trial.
Membership Terms and Payment
ShowHub Plus is available in one-month, three-month and one-year terms. Current prices are shown before purchase and in Stripe Checkout.
Payment is processed securely by Stripe. ShowHub does not receive or store your payment card information.
Your ShowHub Plus access begins when payment is successfully completed, unless you are extending an existing membership or scheduling a recurring membership to begin at the end of your current term.
Single-Term Memberships
A single-term membership provides ShowHub Plus access for the term purchased and does not automatically renew.
You may extend a single-term membership at any time. An extension is charged at the time of purchase and the additional time is added to the end of your existing membership period.
Recurring Memberships
Automatic renewal is optional.
If you choose a recurring membership, your selected membership term will automatically renew until you cancel it. Stripe will charge the payment method associated with your subscription at the beginning of each new billing period.
You can cancel automatic renewal from your ShowHub Plus account page. Cancelling stops future renewal charges. You will continue to have ShowHub Plus access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
If you change the term of an active recurring membership, the new term takes effect at your next renewal date. You are not charged immediately for the new term.
Supportive Memberships
ShowHub Plus Supportive Memberships provide the same ShowHub Plus features as standard memberships while allowing members to contribute additional financial support toward the ongoing work involved in maintaining ShowHub.
Supportive Memberships are single-term purchases and do not automatically renew. You may extend your membership by purchasing another term.
The amount and membership term are clearly shown before payment is submitted.
Failed or Incomplete Payments
ShowHub Plus access that depends on a payment may not begin or renew if the payment is unsuccessful, cancelled, disputed, or otherwise not completed.
For recurring memberships, Stripe may attempt to collect an unsuccessful renewal payment according to its billing procedures. Your ShowHub Plus access may end if a renewal payment cannot be completed.
Refunds
Because ShowHub Plus provides digital access immediately upon purchase, membership payments are generally non-refundable once the membership period has begun.
If you believe you were charged incorrectly, were charged more than once, or experienced a technical problem that prevented you from receiving the membership you purchased, please contact us. We will review the situation and correct billing errors where appropriate.
Cancelling a recurring membership prevents future renewal charges but does not refund the current membership period.
Nothing in these terms limits any refund or other right you may have under applicable law.
Show Information
ShowHub curates live music information from artists, venues, promoters and other sources. We work to keep listings accurate and current, but show details can change without notice.
A ShowHub Plus membership does not guarantee the accuracy, availability or continuation of any particular show, artist, venue or listing. Please confirm important details with the venue, artist, promoter or ticket provider when necessary.
Availability of the Service
We aim to keep ShowHub and ShowHub Plus available and functioning reliably, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed. Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical problems or circumstances outside our control.
Acceptable Use
You may not use ShowHub Plus to interfere with the operation or security of ShowHub, attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems, or use automated methods to scrape, extract or systematically collect ShowHub content.
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect ShowHub, its users or its systems, or in response to serious or repeated misuse of the service.
Privacy
Your use of ShowHub Plus is also subject to the ShowHub Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how information related to payments is handled.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service as ShowHub Plus develops or our legal, technical or business requirements change.
Changes will apply prospectively. Changes to these terms will not shorten a membership period you have already paid for or retroactively change the price of that period.
The current version of these terms and the date it was last updated will be available on ShowHub.
