Andrea Superstein is a boundary-pushing jazz artist who skillfully blends electro, indie, and other unexpected influences into her music. Lauded by Vancouver Province critic Tom Harrison for “redefining jazz,” her sound is often compared to Amy Winehouse and Portishead.

Her breakout performance at the 2010 Vancouver International Jazz Festival earned her a Galaxie Rising Star nomination and set her on a trajectory toward national recognition. In 2014, she shared the stage with Canadian jazz greats Laila Biali and Brandi Disterheft at the same festival.

Superstein’s latest project, Worlds Apart, highlights her artistry as a vocalist, composer, and arranger. Produced and co-arranged by jazz luminary Elizabeth Shepherd, the album explores a rich emotional spectrum in three languages, seamlessly blending classic and contemporary styles.
