Coldwater Road
Lyrically rich with driving rhythm, Coldwater Road gives folk music a reason to move. Waltzing between love songs and foot-stomping murder ballads, Coldwater Road covers a lot of ground, their songs often taken from the history of the Western Frontier. Their style reaches across Folk, Americana, Rock, and Country, and live performances are like James Taylor with the Lumineers. Performing as a duo to a five-piece, complete with rich harmonies and a variety of textures, Coldwater Road can be gritty and acoustic, or layered and full of melody, Always featuring Patrick Spencer (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, harmonica) and frequently joined by Charles Wesley (electric guitar, vocals).
