Hank Lionhart

Artist Website

Hank Leonhardt has been a force in Canadian blues and R&B for decades, fronting bands from Edmonton to Victoria and Vancouver. A dynamic live performer, he’s shared the stage with legends like Muddy Waters, Joe Cocker, James Cotton, George Thorogood, Koko Taylor, the Neville Brothers, and John Mayall.

Best known today as the frontman of Uncle Wiggly’s Hot Shoes Blues Band — members of the Victoria Music Hall of Fame and BC’s representatives at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis — Hank delivers powerhouse vocals shaped by a lifetime in the blues. Whether with Uncle Wiggly’s, Hot Cottage, or past projects like the R&B Toasters, Kingpins, and A Fist Full of Blues, his performances are built on raw energy, deep groove, and a love of connecting with live audiences.
