JP Fell Pipe Band

Artist Website

The official pipe band of Vancouver’s North Shore, the J.P. Fell Pipe Band was founded in 1993 and has been bringing the powerful sounds of pipes and drums to life across North and West Vancouver — and beyond — ever since.

The band takes its name from the North Vancouver armoury, named in honour of Lt. Col. James Pemberton Fell, the first commanding officer of the 6th Field Company, established in 1911.

Primarily a performance band, J.P. Fell Pipe Band regularly appears in North Shore community parades, local celebrations, ceremonies honouring veterans and service organizations, municipal and residential events, concerts, and festivals such as ScotFestBC.

As a non-profit organization, the band also provides instruction to anyone interested in learning Highland bagpipes or drumming — at any age or skill level.
