Kayla Price
Kayla Price is an emotionally expressive performer and dedicated music educator with over 14 years of training in classical, operatic, musical theatre, and jazz voice. As a passionate teacher, she is committed to helping students find their unique voice through music, tailoring her approach to suit each individual’s learning style.
Her lifelong interest in exploring new instruments began in childhood and has since expanded into a broad skill set that includes brass, woodwinds, strings, keyboards, and — of course — voice. Kayla has performed with both the BCMEA and BCYC provincial choral ensembles and currently serves as a section leader with the Coastal Sound Youth Choir. She has also shared the stage with guest artists Dawn Pemberton and Laila Biali at the BlueShore Theatre in 2024.
Now studying jazz music and education at Capilano University, Kayla’s passion for music continues to grow. She looks forward to inspiring and supporting the next generation of musicians through both performance and education.
