Lucy Lambert is a Vancouver-based jazz pianist, accordionist, singer, artist, and violinist, known for her romantic, dreamy songwriting and virtuosic musicianship. Blending classic swing with a refined, feminine touch, her performances bring elegance and warmth to every setting.
As the bandleader and creative director behind Lucy Lambert’s Violet Drift, she collaborates with top jazz musicians from Canada and the U.S., including Joe Abbott, John Nicholson, Kevin Romain, Seb Chamney, Noah Gotfrit, and Juliette Malgrange. Influenced by jazz greats like Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Bessie Smith, and Chet Baker, Lucy’s voice carries the timeless essence of early jazz.
A self-taught musician and producer, she has performed extensively across Canada, with shows in Vancouver, Montreal, New Orleans, and New York, embracing the deep jazz traditions of each city. Currently, she is releasing Violet Drift’ssecond full-length album, featuring a stellar lineup of Vancouver’s jazz talent.
