The Terminal City Blues Band was founded in Vancouver in 2011 by longtime collaborators Cham Samara and Johnny Bland. Known for fusing raw blues roots with gritty rock energy, the band quickly carved out a unique space in the local scene. Their sound pays tribute to legends like Jimi Hendrix, Black Sabbath, and The Doors, while drawing on the intensity of punk, the moodiness of trip-hop, and the pulse of post-punk.

After a successful early run, the band went on hiatus in 2014 as members pursued other creative projects. A decade later, renewed interest from fans and fellow musicians sparked a powerful comeback in 2024.

Now recharged and writing new material, Terminal City Blues Band is once again bringing their genre-blending sound to the stage — a bold return to form with fresh energy and unmistakable edge.
