Tom van Deursen (Tommy) is a seasoned touring musician with 17 years of experience. Born in Vancouver and raised in Kaslo, he spent over a decade developing his career in East Vancouver before settling on Salt Spring Island. He is an original member of The Boom Booms and frontman of Small Town Artillery Collective, having toured extensively across North and South America, Europe, and the Caribbean.

His latest project, Van Solo, is a one-man-band experience that showcases songs and stories outside his band projects while pushing his musical boundaries. His performances blend piano, keyboards, Stratocaster, and acoustic guitar with live percussion played by his feet, creating an engaging and experimental show. Think James Blake meets Jack White, with the atmospheric energy of Half Moon Run.
