Twin Willow is the project of Vancouver-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Dave Valade. Originally from Toronto, his music blends nostalgic storytelling with themes of love, memory, and exploration.

His 2022 debut single Love Flies High reflects on the early moments of falling in love, set against the warmth of golden hour. The track introduced his laid-back, feel-good style, which continued with Drifting Away in 2023.

In 2024, Twin Willow completed his debut EP, led by the single The Ages — a heartfelt track about the confusion and grief of experiencing loss young, and the struggle to move forward while someone else’s life remains paused.
