Formed in 2023, Witiko blends emotionally raw melodies with riff-driven intensity, drawing inspiration from the emotional weight of post-hardcore, grunge, and progressive rock. The band’s name is rooted in Cree/Métis mythology and reflects the themes of spiritual conflict, healing, and survival found in our music. Our sound is equal parts visceral and reflective — a space for catharsis, chaos, and connection.
