Jared Popma

Jared Popma is a singer/songwriter and guitarist based on Vancouver Island, BC. He has earned a Bachelor's in Jazz Studies from Vancouver Island University and brings together his education and experiences to inspire songs with soul and musical intricacy.  Described as the “Canadian Jack Johnson,” Jared brings a warm energy to the stage with songs from his original releases, described as “stunningly crafted folk-inspired” records (Sono). Jared has performed with his band at festivals such as the Islands Folk Fest in Cowichan and The 39 Days of July in Duncan, and has opened for Canadian rock legends PRISM at the Red Arrow Brewing Concert Series....
