Side One at Harmony Arts – RE/MAX East Stage

Side One began as a 6-piece cover band in Vancouver. Once that core group was up and running, they sourced and hired ‘back-ups’ for each position. Turns out, those ‘back-ups’ (known as ‘subs’ in the biz) were amazing. Soon discovering that they could use the subs and have two bands on any given night, they began booking out two bands at a time, thus requiring another set of subs… and the process repeated.

With bands in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, and Seattle, Side One has become not only something totally unique in the event industry, but also the standard that other companies are trying to catch up to. With a total of nearly 2500 performances, Side One employs over 150 musicians and audio techs, and plays just about every genre of music imaginable to get you on the dance floor.
