Anna Backus is a Vancouver-based musician and performer known for her rich, sultry vocals and a repertoire that spans decades—from classic rock, jazz standards, and Motown to Top 40, indie pop, and country. Anna brings a polished, professional energy to every event.

With a formal background in classical and jazz music, she combines technical finesse with heartfelt delivery. Performing on guitar, keyboard, and percussion, she offers a layered and engaging sound across genres including pop, soul, folk, country, and jazz. Her setlists range from modern hits by Miley Cyrus, Harry Styles, and George Ezra to beloved classics by Bonnie Raitt, Ray Charles, and Bill Withers. Whether performing solo, in a duo, or with her four-piece band, Anna knows how to read the room and create the perfect atmosphere.
