After graduating from music school together, trumpet player Trevor Whitridge and drummer Skye Perez founded Beat Spirit, a high-energy funk band based in Vancouver, BC. Focused primarily on original material, the group blends intricate horn arrangements with tight, groove-driven rhythms to create an energetic, uplifting sound. Constantly exploring new ideas, they continue to write fresh music and perform regularly at festivals and events around Vancouver. Beat Spirit is dedicated to delivering engaging, vibrant performances and is continually seeking new opportunities to share their music.
