The Bughouse Five was formed in 1991 . Rooted in rockabilly and other roots styles and delivered with the recklessness of punk .The band released five albums within 20 years and played hundreds of shows in Canada and the U.S. Hard to pigeonhole them as one thing they seamlessly blended Rockabilly , blues Tex mex ,country , surf and swamp rock grooves . They very occasionally still play shows featuring founding members singer Butch Murphy ,drummer Taylor Little, and their longest running guitarist Joe Rotundo as well as sometime members Phil Addington on bass and Mike Kenny on keys and guitar.
