If a picture is worth a thousand words, a song is worth a million. A soulful songwriter and multifaceted performer, Cassandra Bangel has come into her own through writing, playing, and sharing her music.

Born into a musical family in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Bangel was immersed early in the sounds of retro rock before beginning classical piano lessons at age seven. After adding guitar to her repertoire, her fascination with the darker, more brooding qualities of the E minor chord led her to write her first song, “Scream,” at just twelve years old.
