Cat Madden is a powerhouse vocalist known for her blend of rock, soul, and jazz – once described as “an opera singer mixed with a Husqvarna chainsaw.” Her performances range from intimate, heartfelt shows to high-energy concerts drawing comparisons to artists like Tedeschi Trucks Band, Norah Jones, and Radiohead.

With songs that explore themes of emotional healing, climate change, women’s rights, and mental health – and even a humorous tune about peanut butter and jam – Cat combines raw authenticity with humour and commanding stage presence. A strong advocate for women in music, she is forming an all-female band, organizing femme-focused events, mentoring other artists, and self-producing her debut album.
