Christopher Hernandez and The Skatronauts blend classic rock, blues, reggae, and ska with original instrumental compositions led by guitarist and songwriter Christopher Hernandez.

Following the release of two solo albums, Christopher (guitar, vocals, trumpet) teamed up with Hugo Rica (vocals, drums) to form The Skatronauts. They were later joined by Jules Dömm (bass) and Jairo Cuadrado (guitar). All four members hail from Latin America and bring decades of experience performing in various bands, drawing deep influence from classic rock in both English and Spanish — from the Eagles to Radiohead and beyond.

In addition to their high-energy covers, the group showcases original instrumental tracks that push beyond genre conventions. Rooted in classic rock traditions, Christopher’s compositions use melody and tone to tell evocative, wordless stories that connect with listeners on a deeper level.
