Danny Echo
Danny Echo is a renowned musician known for blending brit-pop melodies with classic rock vocals and alt-pop energy. Beginning after a transformative U.K. tour with The Ryecatchers, he returned to Vancouver to continue the city’s musical heritage. Supported by PeakFM through the Peak Performance Project, he worked with producer Jeff Dawson and mixer Mike Fraser at Bryan Adams’ Warehouse studio. Their single “Tomorrow Today” gained significant attention.
Danny released two albums: the self-titled “Danny Echo, Danny Echo” and “Rock Bottoms Up,” as well as an EP “Unplugged and Unglued.” He toured across Canada and Japan, establishing his presence as a dynamic performer. He later explored neo-grunge music with the band “Clementine” and released the “Gorillaz”- inspired album “Atmosfear,” featuring collaborations with hip hop artist Tyrow James.
His artistic journey includes collaborations with The Walk-Ins, Scott Perry, Human Girl, Neon North, and The Swimming Hammers. Despite a demanding career in Vancouver’s film industry, Danny continues to pursue music, releasing the single “Zeros and Ones” in spring 2022. His dedication to his craft and ability to connect with audiences make him a prominent figure in the music industry.
