Dean Michael Smith is an award-winning multi-instrumentalist and storyteller with a soulful voice that resonates deeply with audiences. Known for his emotive performances and magnetic stage presence, Dean has headlined national tours with his project Brave It Through the Night and shared stages with international acts such as Jeff Martin (The Tea Party), The Trews, Everclear, Daryl Braithwaite, Diesel, and Magic Dirt.

His solo album, Brave It Through the Night, was named one of the Top 5 Albums of the Year by the Warrnambool Standard, showcasing his unique blend of heartfelt songwriting and rock-infused sound. A fixture on the Australian live music scene, Dean has performed thousands of shows, from intimate settings to large-scale auditoriums.

Dean has been featured on the television program Songwriters Across Australia, profiled in Ciao magazine, and held the number one spot on ReverbNation’s singer-songwriter charts.
