Dust Cwaine: The Band
Dust Cwaine: The Band is a 5 piece queer indie pop rock group based in Vancouver BC. Their music mixes the best of 80’s pop with late 90’s bombastic alt rock. Fronted by iconic drag queen Dust Cwaine, this band blends the worlds of drag and music to create an original and electrifying show. Quick with a hook and roaring with energy, their sets will have you singing along to songs you don’t even know! Dust Cwaine: The Band features Dana Oikawa on Guitar, Banafshe on Synth, Trevor Weins on Bass and Iris Yakymyshyn on Drums.
Dust Cwaine: The Band has played to sold out audiences at The Fox, Green Auto, the Hollywood Theatre, and more. In 2025 Dust Cwaine’s band graced the Rifflandia stage in Victoria with their unapologetic queer energy. They have also been a featured act at Burnaby Pride, Fraser Valley Pride and even opened for musical artist Young Friend. They are the house band for Sleepy Queers Productions.
