Born and raised in Vancouver, Dustin Bentall grew up immersed in the sounds of Neil Young, The Band, Bob Dylan, and Steve Earle — a musical foundation that shaped his roots-driven style. The son of Canadian roots rocker Barney Bentall, Dustin has carved out his own path with a sound that blends classic influences with a modern edge. His third release, Orion, marked a turning point, produced by Ryan Dahle (Limblifter, Age of Electric) and featuring a newly formed group of bi-coastal musicians known as The Smøkes, creating a sound uniquely his own.
