Canadian singer-songwriter Eliza Barry blends warm indie pop with soulful acoustic vibes, known for her thoughtful lyrics and expressive vocals. At the age of 7 Eliza wrote her first song, and has been passionately songwriting ever since. Her music and voice guides the listener through a journey of melancholic sounds, thought provoking lyricism, intricate melodies and chromatic harmony with a dreamy and soulful approach. In April 2021, Eliza received her Degree in Music from VCC, majoring in Jazz and Contemporary Voice with a minor in Classical Voice. Her various inspirations include works from artists – Norah Jones, Stevie Wonder, Maggie Rogers, Sheryl Crow, Feist, Eloise etc… Her latest single, “East,” explores themes of growth and renewal.
