4x Juno-nominated and Canadian Folk Music Award singer-songwriter and Canadian Geographic recognized author Ginalina creates songs and books that honour many seasons of life.  Nationally and internationally, she creates and collaborates with care, curiosity, and attention.

Based on the West Coast, Ginalina is a 2nd generation Canadian with Taiwanese roots.  The daughter to a ballerina and a botanist, her first career was in healthcare engineering and project management before she chose music as a lifestyle and career.  Her work is inspired by nature and rootedness and curiosity – about plants, people, places, and stories.  Her work includes folk music of many genres and she enjoys meaningful inter- and cross-disciplinary collaboration – with musicians, dancers, circus artists, choirs, retreats, scientists, and more!
