Harrison Ivaz is a rising jazz guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter whose original music blends jazz, rock, and R&B with melodic sophistication and playful charm. A graduate of Capilano University’s acclaimed Jazz Studies Program, Harrison quickly made his mark as a dynamic performer, earning praise for both his virtuosic guitar work and charismatic stage presence.

His latest project, The Benson Project, pays tribute to guitar legend George Benson, capturing the elegance, soul, and artistry that defined Benson’s sound. Featuring some of BC’s top young talents, the group brings a fresh energy to this classic material while celebrating its roots.

Harrison has performed at major festivals including Lollapalooza, Milwaukee Summerfest, and Zentsura AT Festival in Bilbao, Spain. He’s also played closer to home at Harmony Arts Festival, the Vancouver International Children’s Festival, SFU, Whistler’s summer concert series, and more. A past winner of the BC Youth Week Amplifier Competition and a two-time PNE Talent Search semi-finalist, he continues to earn attention as one of BC’s most promising young artists.

Whether leading his quintet at Tyrant Studios or delivering original songs like “Thomas” on festival stages, Harrison brings heart, humour, and technical brilliance to every performance.
