Jana Seale
Jana Seale has captivated audiences worldwide with her distinctive, gentle style. From April 2006 to July 2014, she was a featured guest artist aboard luxury cruise lines, enchanting travelers with her evocative performances. Now based in Chilliwack, BC, she performs throughout the southwestern province, bringing her warm, understated fingerstyle guitar and rich, multifaceted voice to every stage.
Drawing inspiration from open-tuning troubadour Nanci Griffith and the elegant arrangements of Eva Cassidy, Jana’s music echoes the timeless artistry of Joni Mitchell and Joan Baez. With a repertoire of around 500 songs spanning acoustic singer-songwriters from the ’60s to today—along with selections from pop, soft rock, country, Celtic, and jazz—she seamlessly adapts to any setting, whether providing ambient background music for upscale venues or engaging audiences in an intimate coffeehouse setting.
Her five albums have reached listeners worldwide, with tracks from Jana Seale (2006) and Temporarily Lost at Sea(2008) receiving airplay on CBC Vancouver and Edmonton’s CKUA.
