Jason de Couto

Jason de Couto is a professional musician and longtime music educator based in Vancouver, B.C. He holds degrees from UBC, SFU, and Capilano University, and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Counselling at City University.

Jason has spent the past 18 years teaching music at both the elementary and secondary levels, with experience across Richmond, Vancouver, and now North Vancouver. Passionate about education, the arts, and mental wellness, he brings a thoughtful and holistic approach to his work with students and fellow artists alike.

As a performing musician, Jason specializes in piano and keyboards. He collaborates with a wide range of musicians, ensembles, and multidisciplinary artists across numerous styles and genres. Outside of music and education, he enjoys staying active and spending time in nature.
