International saxophonist Johnny Ferreira is known for his high-energy performances and signature sax sound, honed over decades of touring across Europe, the U.S., and Canada. He first broke onto the scene as a member of Vancouver punk legends The Pointed Sticks and later gained national attention as the featured soloist and co-arranger in Colin James’ band, contributing to the acclaimed Little Big Band album.

After over a decade sharing stages with icons like The Rolling Stones, Robert Plant, ZZ Top, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, Johnny launched a successful solo career. His recordings span swing, blues, rock, and pop, and his sax work has been featured in films, TV, and on multiple gold and platinum albums. Today, he continues to perform, record, and teach, staying true to the instrument he calls “the closest thing to the human voice.”
