Jonah Ocean is a Vancouver-based multi-instrumentalist and singer. Raised in a deeply musical family, he has been singing for as long as he can remember. Early exposure to a wide range of spiritual traditions, followed by formal studies in classical and jazz music at the post-secondary level, shaped a broad and grounded musical foundation. Drawing on this background, Jonah offers medicine music with both technical depth and intentional presence.

He also spent six years working as an elementary school music teacher, an experience that sharpened his ability to read a room and thoughtfully attune music to intimate group settings. In 2021, Jonah began supporting plant medicine ceremonies and has since contributed music to over 60 ceremonies alongside a wide range of practitioners, elders, and medicine workers.
