Julia Skye
Julia Skye is a Vancouver-based vocalist and contemporary singer-songwriter whose sound blends pop, indie rock, jazz harmony, and intimate acoustic stylings. An alumna of the Singer-Songwriter program at Vancouver Community College, Julia performs across the Lower Mainland in a variety of musical settings. These include a bass–voice duo with acclaimed bassist Colin Sankey, the funk-pop cover band The Funkyard, and her own band, which showcases her original work. In addition to performing, Julia is a dedicated educator — she teaches voice and co-directs musical theatre at Motion and Music Performing Arts in New Westminster, and serves as Associate Conductor of the Ambleside Youth Choir in West Vancouver.
