Kathleen Nisbet
Kathleen Nisbet is a fiddle player, singer, and songwriter from Vancouver, BC. After being classically trained, she returned to her Métis roots, focusing on traditional fiddle music while working across various genres. She has composed for theatre and dance productions and regularly collaborates with V’ni Dansi Métis traditional dance and the Acuhko Simowuk Collective.
An active part of Vancouver’s bluegrass and folk scene, Kathleen tours with her band, Viper Central, and has numerous studio recording credits. She is also known for producing live music events, including the annual East Van Opry.
