Kristian Alexandrov is a Bulgarian-born pianist, percussionist, and composer who has been based in Canada since 1995. A graduate of the prestigious L. Pipkov School of Music, Kristian has toured Europe since his teens and performed with artists like k.d. lang, Randy Brecker, Eric Marienthal, and Wycliffe Gordon. He is musical director for trumpeter Jens Lindemann and frequently appears with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s pops program. Recent highlights include performances at Koerner Hall, Banff Centre, and festivals in Israel, Russia, and the U.S.
