Krystle Dos Santos
Krystle Dos Santos is a two-time award-winning soul, jazz, and country/rock singer-songwriter known for her dynamic performances and genre-blending sound. From touring Canada with her critically acclaimed cabaret musical Hey Viola! to recording with country/rock band Orchard Sky while nine months pregnant, she continues to break boundaries.
Her self-titled debut album won Urban Recording of the Year at the 2009 Western Canadian Music Awards, followed by a 2020 WCMA win for R&B Artist of the Year. With influences ranging from Sade and Jill Scott to Etta James and Sarah Vaughan, her music fuses dance beats, funky grooves, and soulful jazz.
Armed with a Performing Arts certificate in musical theatre, Dos Santos has performed at major festivals and theatres across Canada, including the Vancouver Folk Festival, Edmonton and Vancouver International Jazz Festivals, Charlottetown Festival, and Stratford Festival. Performing with a full band, she effortlessly transitions between genres, delivering a sultry, smoky vocal style and an electrifying stage presence. Her live shows are dynamic, interactive, and unforgettable.
