Leela Holt
Leela is a Toronto-born, Vancouver-based singer-songwriter known for her smooth vocals, insightful lyrics, and expressive fingerpicking on guitar and ukulele. With over 14 years of live performance experience, she has captivated audiences across Canada at weddings, private events, restaurants, and respected venues such as the Horseshoe Tavern and Lee’s Palace.
Offering a repertoire of over 300 covers alongside her own original material, Leela brings versatility and heart to every performance. Her musical journey includes vocal training, songwriting workshops, and production courses through programs like the Women in Music Accelerator (2023), Berklee College of Music, SongStudio, and the Kauai Songwriters Music Festival.
Leela is also a dedicated community builder. She runs Creative Collabs, a monthly networking event for musicians and producers held at Dick & Rogers Studio / Railtown Mastering in Vancouver. You can also find her performing weekly at Laowai, a hidden cocktail lounge in Vancouver’s Chinatown.
