The Lesley Branton Trio is a Vancouver-based ensemble known for their fresh interpretations of jazz standards and Bossa Nova tunes. Led by vocalist Lesley Branton, the trio features some of Vancouver’s most well-known and professional musicians. Their repertoire spans jazz, pop, and blues, reflecting their diverse musical influences and appealing to a wide range of audiences. 

Lesley Branton’s vocal style is shaped by artists such as Carole King, James Taylor, Bonnie Raitt, Joni Mitchell, Peggy Lee, and Ella Fitzgerald. This eclectic mix contributes to the trio’s unique and uplifting sound.

The trio regularly performs at various venues across Vancouver. An upcoming performance is scheduled for April 10, 2025, at Apollo’s Restaurant on Commercial Drive. They have also performed at Coquette Brasserie, where they were featured as part of the restaurant’s music night series. 

In addition to live performances, Lesley Branton has participated in events like Jazz Evensong, showcasing her versatility as a vocalist.
