Mackenzie Parry is a captivating and energetic performer who transports her audiences across time and genres blending musicianship, creativity and style. Drawing on her experience as a classical singer and musical influences growing up in rural southern Alberta she challenges musical stereotypes and what defines “genre”. Audience members can look forward to a selection of curated “jazz-like” tunes spanning different styles and time periods each one spun with nuance and her personal unapologetic style.

Accompanied by local jazz pianist Marlo Morgan, who studies piano performance at VCC. He is known for his various accompanying styles in ballet, choir, jazz combos and churches.
