Marlie Collins
Marlie Collins is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and performer based in Vancouver. Originally from Saskatoon, SK, she grew up in a musical household and began voice lessons at 15. After studying voice at the University of Saskatchewan and graduating from the Canadian College of Performing Arts, she toured internationally with the funk/soul band HB Wild in Malaysia and Vietnam.
Back in Canada, Marlie performed as a lead vocalist with Side One and Mooncoin Productions, and began writing her own music. Her debut showcase, Marlie Collins and Company, premiered in 2017 at the Beaumont. She currently teaches voice at the Sarah McLachlan School of Music, continues to perform regularly, and is actively developing original material.
