Matty Miller & The Barge Boys formed in 2022, bonded by a shared love of rock ‘n’ roll and beached sea vessels. Known for their infectious energy, crowd connection, and strong musicality, they’ve brought that same spirit to both the studio and stages across British Columbia. Drawing inspiration from the sounds of the ’60s and ’70s while embracing modern instrumentation, the band delivers a fresh yet familiar sound—described by audiences as captivating, uplifting, and deeply genuine.
