(ME) Mary Ella Young and (G) Georgina Arntzen have been performing together for over 14 years. A vibrant female vocal duo, ME & G blends rich, intertwined harmonies with a joyous fusion of swing, blues, and folk-inspired pop, creating an atmosphere that is welcoming and irresistibly fun for audiences of all ages.
They have performed at the Harmony Arts Festival, Lindy Bout, White Rock Traditional Jazz Society, alongside Red Robinson in “On the Air: A Musical Revue,” as well as regular performances at 2nd Floor Gastown and Vancouver’s iconic Sylvia Hotel. Staples of the Vancouver music scene as ⅔ of The Hot Mammas, the pair formed ME & G after the loss of their cherished friend and partner.
