Norine Braun is a prolific singer-songwriter  and recording artist based in Vancouver, with 14 acclaimed albums to her name. Her genre-defying sound spans roots, blues, and folk, always infused with soulful vocals and thought-provoking lyrics. Braun’s, Journey Toward Wholeness, is a concept album born from her personal journey as an adoptee reuniting with her birth father and embracing her Métis heritage. The album is a testament to her resilience and introspective songwriting, supported by a First Peoples’ Cultural Council Award. Norine is Métis and Two Spirit.

Norine’s prior release, Songs For Trees, explored environmental themes during the pandemic and was named one of The Vancouver Sun’s “5 Albums You Need to Hear.” Her work has charted on the SiriusXM Indigenous Music Countdown and Canadian college radio. A past Western Canadian Music Award nominee and recipient of multiple national grants, Braun is known for emotionally rich music and compelling live performances across Canada and internationally.
